Isn't this a great photo? I know it was taken on July 18th 1942 at a dance in Stockton, CA. I believe this was the day my grandparents met each other. If not at this dance then I know they met at a similar dance around the same time. They were married for 65 years just last month. My grandfather passed away today after a month long battle with pneumonia....I feel very sad. He was a good man, a good provider and a good husband...I will miss him.

I am so sorry to hear about your Grandfather, but these are the memories that you will want to always remember and share with your children. Remember he has not left you he will always be with you and spirit and memory and will will always watch over you and your family. Now put a huge simle on your face and tell your children the most memorable story about their Great Grandfather you can remember. It really will help.. hugs and kisses

Noel, I am so sorry to hear about your Grandfather's passing. I can tell you loved him alot and have many good memories of him. I am saying a prayer for you and your family this week as you attend the funeral and visit with other family members. Luv ya girl and many hugs!! See you soon ok!
